In Vietnam as well as in many other countries in the region and over the world, the “mortgage fraud” with diverse forms and scales is increasingly causing unpredictable consequences. Many drawbacks of the “mortgage fraud” have been revealed clearly by statistics, showing that many urgent problems need legal corrective measures.

Under this situation, the Center for Research on Development Communication (RED) and TRUONG LOC Law Limited Liability Company jointly organize the workshop named “Rescue the poor from the mortgage fraud”.

The workshop has participation of many stakeholders, including the representatives of the public security; the People's Procuracy; the People's Court; the Ministry of Justice as well as representatives of the civil sector as Lawyers Associations; Notary public’s offices and the people who are directly related to the "mortgage fraud".

The objective of the workshop is to raise awareness of people of related laws and recommend the policy solutions to the competent authority agencies.
